I found the hotel to be conveniently located near the Quang Duc Pagoda, making it a perfect stopover spot. The staff was incredibly helpful and arranged early check-in and late check-out for us. However, the outside smells near the pagoda were quite off-putting. The breakfast prepared for us before our floating market tour was a thoughtful touch, but the limited breakfast hours were a bit inconvenient.
Arriving after dark made the hotel look a bit sketchy, but the rooms were surprisingly clean despite the outdated furniture. The lack of a window for four persons was a downside, as it was advertised. The service was friendly and accommodating, however, the location being away from the riverfront was a bit inconvenient. The dining was decent, especially for Vietnam, and the facilities were of a decent standard.
When I arrived in the morning, the hotel looked a bit sketchy after dark. The rooms were small and felt a bit claustrophobic, especially with the frosted glass in the bathroom. Despite this, the location was perfect for getting to the port, floating markets, and night markets. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Can Tho!
